While conducting research at Dar Al Amal, an NGO rehabilitating women at risk and ex-prisoners, she was inspired to establish a business that would train and employ the women she encountered during her fieldwork. Thus, in May 2000, Sarah's Bag was born in Beirut, embodying a fusion of fashion, design, and a mission to empower underprivileged women.
Each design by Sarah Beydoun reflects her exuberant persona, resulting in hip, luxurious, handcrafted statement pieces that radiate fun and playfulness. In 2014, Sarah's sister Malak, an advertising and fashion publishing professional, joined as a partner, contributing valuable industry experience to expand the brand internationally.

The brand's artisans, numbering over 200, include female prisoners, ex-prisoners, and underprivileged women in Lebanon. These skilled artisans, trained by the Sarah's Bag team, contribute to designs that showcase their talents and serve as a means of empowerment.
