Dr. Ibrahim Almojel is the CEO of the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) where he leads the transformation of the Fund to be the key financial enabler of National Industrial Development and Logistics Vision Realization Program (NIDLP), which aims towards transforming the Kingdom into a leading industrial powerhouse and global logistic house.
Prior to SIDF, Dr. Almjoel spent over 6 years at Saudi Aramco where he headed Investment Management overseeing portfolio management, direct investment and investment services. He also served as the Head of Global Investment of Saudi Aramco's Energy Ventures (SAEV), was a member of the Saudi Aramco's inaugural Young Leaders Advisory Board, and a member of the Energy Ventures and Entrepreneurship Ventures Committees.
Dr. Almojel is the founding president of the Stanford Club of Saudi Arabia and the Chairman of Eastern Oqal, the leading Angel Investors Network in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom. He is a board member of NIDLP, Samba Financial Group, Raidah Investment Company and Awqaf Investment Company, among many others.
Dr. Almojel holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
